On Instagram the author and bookstagramer Sim Kern (@sim_bookstagrams_badly) has created a Trans Rights Readathon from March 20-27th 2023. More then 1500 people are actively participating. All posting about books, they will try to read during this time.
This amounted to a huge and diverse collection of books, writen by trans*, non-binary and genderqueer authors.
To see all of these suggestions and recommendations makes me happy. And makes me want to collect them. I want to amplify them.
So here I collected a lot of those, that fit to my favorite genres, mainly Science Fiction, Horror, Fantasy, Comics and more.
Every picture has a link to further information about the book.
This collection focuses on authors that identify as trans*, non-binary or genderqueer. I tried to research all of them thoroughly.

La Bassa Mar is a seminar and retreat space for trans, inter, non-binary, and queer people, centering those impacted by racism, in Tarragona, Catalunya, Spain.
The group themselves are collecting donations to keep the space open and going. This weeks #transrightsreadthon is the occasion for me to try and support them.

Auf Instagram hat Autorx und Bookstagramer Sim Kern (@sim_bookstagrams_badly) vom 20.-27. März 2023 einen Trans Rights Readathon ausgerufen. Über 1500 Personen machen schon aktiv mit und alle posten die Bücher, die sie versuchen wollen in dieser Zeit zu lesen.
Dabei ist eine vielfältige und breite Sammlung an Büchern zusammen gekommen, die von trans*, nicht-binären und genderqueeren Personen geschrieben wurden.
Diese vielen Vorschläge und Empfehlungen zu sehen macht mich glücklich. Und ich möchte sie gern sammeln und sichtbar machen.
Hier habe ich einige zusammen getragen, die zu meinen Leseschwerpunkten passen, also hauptsächlich Science Fiction, Horror, Fantasy, Comics und mehr. Jedes Bild ist verlinkt zum Buch und weiteren Informationen.
Die Auswahl hier bezieht sich auf Autor_innen, die sich als trans*, nicht-binär oder genderqueer verorten. Ich habe mir Mühe gegeben, alle sorgfältig zu recherchieren. Wenn du ergänzende Informationen hast, immer her damit!
